Malus domestica 'Haralson'
Haralson- A reliable apple, introduced in 1922. While self-fruitful, it prefers to have a different apple planted near it for effective cross pollination. Firm flesh and a sprightly tart taste, it is best suited for fresh eating, baking, and making hard ciders. Because of its firm flesh, it is not a good apple for applesauce. Semi-dwarf apple
